Writer + Speaker
Faith. Motherhood. Relationships. Freedom.
Grace clingers. Deep feelers. Love Warriors Welcome
I didn’t set out to do this- write, teach or speak about my faith. I never imagined I’d share such a thing so publicly. But Jesus got a hold of me and started a renovation project in my heart. He stripped me down to build me up again and then called me to share boldly the things he’s brought me through.
I’m passionate, sensitive and bold in my convictions and while I’m deeply joyful, I just as readily embrace deep sorrow. I believe we cannot have one without the other.
In my own faith walk, joy has caused me to thank God – to see him in the details of my life; but it’s the sorrow that has helped me love him and ultimately, receive his love. It’s the hard and messy parts of life that have refined and reshaped the woman I am today.
I believe stubbornly in the freedom, healing and wholeness of Christ’s collective bride and I pray fervently to see a generation of women made entirely new in Jesus.
I will wage war against my flesh for as long as it takes, to keep Jesus at first place in my heart. My deepest longing is to know and be known intimately by my bridegroom.
I’m an ever proud mommy to one and a grateful wife.
By day, I nurture the next generation, in home and in schools, educating youth on sexuality, healthy relationships and navigating teen culture with integrity.
By night I write here, sharing my personal journey, like a diary you stumbled upon open.
I lead a weekly women’s bible study and am currently writing my first book, “Bleeding Hearts” and accompanying bible study, “Know Jesus; Receive God’s love.
Seeking Grace exists because of the grace and mercy Christ has shown me and it exists to glorify and lift up his name alone.
And it is my prayer that every woman may discover and fully experience the truth and fullness of Christ’s resurrection power in their lives:
“May God make you worthy of his calling, and by his power may he bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.” 2 Thess. 1:11
Born and raised on the beautiful “wet”coast of British Columbia, I reside in a quaint ocean-side village outside Downtown Vancouver. There, I finds solace in quiet time with Jesus, giggle fits as a family, and ample hours in nature along our oceanside trails.
In our home, we:
- Honour God
- Think good thoughts
- Try to do better
- Say I’m sorry
- Believe in Grace
- Love one another
- Show respect
- Never give up
- Pray always
Here I share my heart through every twist, turn and bend in the road, in hopes of inspiring others to own their light, give God everything and with full-force and vigour, break down every wall allowing God’s truth, love, and mercy in.
