Keeping sight of Good Intent

Sometimes, as Entrepreneurs, we can get caught up in To Do’s: the next marketing tactic, the next client, the next big move. Our minds are constantly engaged in a quest for betterment.

At no time, will we ever have “arrived” or “gotten it right.” For when we stop, we loose sight of growth and improvement. I believe in constantly evolving, whether it’s a product, a company, a service or as a person. And while I truly believe it’s that mentality that will keep you “in the game,” there IS a downfall in it.

It can blind us in the now. We can loose sight of the blessings of the present and the workings of God in our hearts and through our hands, right this very moment. Each and every chapter of our life has been carefully scripted by the One, Almighty and He deserves nothing but praises for every word. He sees our beginning, through the end and knows that each morsel is imperative. We unfortunately can only see this chapter and constantly take it upon ourselves to “craft” the next bend in our story.

The other downfall in this, is that when success arrive, in one form or another, we can let our ego’s over come us. And overtime is can become about us; our work, our talent, our reputation, rather than God working IN us. You see it many times over.

I honestly believe, that most ventures are started with good intent, with a right heart and a sound desire to share something of good value to the world. I pray each day to never loose sight of that…..

…. For it never to be about ME.

No matter where life will lead me or how my chapters will unfold, I desire for God to use me as an instrument.

So, I leave you with this…..

There us no end to what can be accomplished, if instead of worrying about accolades, we are willing to get the job done well and to do it for the Glory of God, alone.
