Take a chance

There are times in life, when it feels “never ending.”

The work, the responsibilities, the bills, the appointments, the fears,  the change.….and the courage to keep going, enthusiastically and with oompf, seem to be dwindling.

We look forward, willing the future to come quicker, so we can stop, even for a second and just be. The problem with this feeling, is that it hinders us. Its stops us dead in our tracks, paralyzes our mental state and wills us to not move forward. We fear the change, the chance and the risk. And if we stop putting one foot in front of the other, things really will stay stuck….in “never ending.”

Lean not on your own understanding: there are reasons to the season and  in putting your trust in Him, God will never give you more than you can handle! {Reluctantly, at times} I’ll admit, his timing is always right, contrary to our attempts at controlling, predicting and planning ahead.

So take each day at a time. Take a chance, just one ……and keep walking……

For a long time I felt unnoticed and longed for community- to find “my people.” You are it! Please know your presence here means something to me, so don’t be a stranger. I read every comment both on the blog and on social media and do my absolute best to respond to every one!
